I am thrilled to be coming back to Australia in a few months for two very special events: The Wellness Walk & Research Run on Sunday 11th September and The ONJ Gala on Saturday 17th September.
You might have noticed the new event name: The Wellness Walk & Research Run! For the very first time, you can walk or run, through the beautiful parklands of La Trobe University in Bundoora, to raise funds for the ONJ Centre. We are very delighted to have Australian long distance runner Steve Moneghetti leading the first ever Research Run - thank you Steve! I will be leading the Wellness Walk for the fourth time - a day I always enjoy so much, as I love seeing so many of you coming back to support the Wellness programs each year! I’m looking forward to walking with you at Latrobe this year!

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all our wonderful friends for helping with the latest appeal featuring Tom Scrivens, a young man with a highly aggressive brain tumour. Funds raised will help research into breakthrough therapies so we can continue to help people like Thomas. Because of you we are one step closer to beginning vital research to develop life-changing treatments for brain, breast, lung, and colon cancer.
The dedicated team at the ONJ Centre are currently working on an exciting project for people with cancer. I can’t tell you too much about it yet but stay tuned! I can tell you a key part of this project is redeveloping our website. We are really interested in your opinion about what you’d like to see on our new website.
