Hello!
I’m very excited to share two incredibly special and important events that we have coming up in the next few months - The ONJ Gala on Saturday, 17 September, and the launch of a new movement "LIV ON."
LIV ON means to have hope, to thrive and to remember.
When I was going through my cancer journey the love and support of others gave me hope when I needed it most. You will be able to help people live better with cancer and defeat it too by sharing your LIV ON journey. Together we will build a global community of care with stories of hope, personal experiences and special memories about how we thrive and remember our cancer journey or the journey of others.
You are a valued friend to the ONJ Centre which is why I wanted to give you a sneak peek into the development of the LIV ON project. Below you can see some images from the film shoot for my new music video of LIV ON. I co-wrote this song to help people to be able to find hope and to thrive during difficult times.
When the LIV ON movement launches in just a few weeks’ time, you will be able to share your LIV ON journey as a video, in your own words, or through images at our brand new website. I would be so grateful if you could be one of the first supporters to share their story.
Like me, I’m sure you believe everyone deserves the chance to LIV ON.
My favourite night of the year: The ONJ Gala 2016 will take place on Saturday, 17 September, at Crown Casino! It is going to be a fantastic evening of entertainment with special performances from Jimmy Barnes, Jon Stevens, Kinky Boots the Musical, Swing on This and Jason Heerah. I am so grateful to these wonderful Australian entertainers for giving their generous support to the Gala, and I am so excited to be singing with Jimmy Barnes!
Finally, thank you to those of you who kindly donated to our most recent appeal for Margaret at the ONJ Centre. Margaret, who has lung cancer, is so grateful for your donations which directly fund the innovative Wellness & Supportive Care programs. With this incredible support from people like you we can continue to provide these vital programs to people who need them most.
I am truly thankful for your commitment to helping people with cancer.
Love & light,
Olivia
