Supporting Someone with Cancer

Families, loved ones and those who care for someone with cancer play an important role in the health and wellbeing of our patients. We understand it is sometimes difficult for carers to get support to help them in this role.

What are the details?

Monthly evening sessions are open to people who are in a carer role. The sessions provide an opportunity to meet others in a similar situation, hear about specific supports and talk about issues just for carers and families. It can also provide you with some time out and space for yourself, which may be difficult to find at home.

 

 

Who can attend?

Anyone caring for someone with cancer is welcome - family, friend or carer.

When is it?

This program is held on the third Thursday of every month from 6pm - 8pm.
