What are the benefits of practicing mindfulness?

Mindfulness programs have a strong evidence base for improving people’s wellbeing even when faced with difficult challenges.

In our friendly and supportive group sessions, you can learn meditation exercises to help you to:

  • Focus and steady the mind

  • Improve your ability to relax

  • Reduce anxiety and depression

  • Pause and be aware of the present

  • Improve your sense of wellbeing and enjoyment of life in a non-judgmental way

  • Respond rather than react to life’s challenges

  • Have a greater capacity to tolerate short and long term stress

  • Learn resilient and compassionate ways to take care of yourself
