Austin Health is seeking lived experience representatives to join our Consumer Advisory Committee.
The Community Advisory Committee is a sub-committee of the Austin Health Board which operates under the Victorian Public Health Services Community Advisory Committee guidelines.
The Community Advisory Committee has three critical roles.
- To provide strategic direction and leadership in the integration of consumer, carer and community views into all levels of health service operations, planning and policy development.
- To advocate to the Board on behalf of the community, consumers, and carers.
- To assist Austin Health to engage with the community.
