More about Dr Adeline Lim

Adeline is a consultant Radiation Oncologist with a sub-specialty interests in gynaecologic and thoracic malignancies. She grew up in Western Australia and attained her medical degree at the University of Western Australia in 2004. Adeline completed specialist Radiation Oncology training at Royal Perth Hospital and Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and was awarded Fellowship to the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists in 2012. Adeline undertook a postgraduate fellowship at the Austin Hospital, where she implemented a Gynaecologic Radiation Oncology Service as well a Lung Stereotactic Radiotherapy Programme. She also obtained fellowship experience in Gynaecologic Brachytherapy at the Royal Marsden Hospital, London.

Adeline has an interest in research and is currently the Primary Investigator in a trial investigating the toxicities and quality of life in patients undergoing gynaecologic radiotherapy. She is passionate about improving survivourship in cancer patients. Adeline recruits to many collaborative trials, including those run by the Trans Tasman Radiation Oncology Group (TROG). She has a keen interest in education and training and is a Director of Training for Radiation Oncology at the Austin.
