More about Dr Carminia Lapuz

Carminia is a Radiation Oncologist who sub-specialises in the treatment of gynaecological cancer, lymphoma and breast cancer. She graduated from the University of Melbourne and completed her training in Radiation Oncology at Calvary Mater Newcastle and Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, Melbourne. She subsequently undertook a clinical research fellowship at Calvary Mater Newcastle in gynaecological and haematological malignancies with a focus on MRI guided cervical brachytherapy.

Carminia joined Austin Health in 2015 and consults at ONJ Centre and Ballarat Regional Integrated Cancer Centre. Her research interests have resulted in several national and international conference presentations and publications, predominantly in the areas of image guided radiotherapy and brachytherapy. She is also actively involved in registrar education and is a Phase 1 Examiner for the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists.
